Excavator Attachments

Our Clamshell Grab Buckets are compatible for use with our 2.5 and 3 Tonne Excavators. Offering strength, durability and a firm grip on anything from silt to stone, as well as being able to carry up to 60 Litres or 65 KG  per single load, with a maximum opening width of 19”. What is more, the hydraulic rotator fitted to each Clamshell allows for excellent manoeuvrability, whilst the Klac Quick Hitch System allows for the safer and easier attachment and detachment of the grab between use.

Digga’s PDD drilling auger/borer is suitable for use with all our excavators, as well as skid steer loaders with a flow of 15-55lpm. Featuring an innovative design which allows the compact, high torque gearbox to fit down the hole for greater digging depth in most ground types it makes an ideal tool for drilling holes for fence posts, tree planting, foundations and more with ease.

Our Excavator-mounted Post Driver makes light work of driving fence posts, Nico-spanning posts and supports into even the hardest of terrains. Fitted with a 120kg weight, it is designed to be attached to our KX61, KX71 and U27 Excavators and features a heavy duty mast construction, variable mounting positions, 2M long extendable leg for depth control and stability, as well as an offset mounting bracket for improved visibility.

A popular item within our fleet, our Piling Hammers are available to hire as the ideal attachment alongside our 2.5 and 2.7 Tonne Excavators.

These hydraulically powered hammers are designed for the driving of L8 profile Piles and are fitted with the KLAC Hitch System, which allows for the safe and easy attaching and detaching of the hammers to and from our Excavators.

Each Hammer is fitted with a Cup as shown – the Puck is then slotted manually onto the top of the pile to be driven and the Cup then placed over the top of the Puck. The Cup, powered by the hammer, then strikes the Puck until the desired depth on the driven pile is reached. This is a tried and tested method and very popular amongst our current hirers.

Delivering between 750-2300 blows per min, our Hydraulic Breakers make light work of breaking up stone and concrete etc and can be easily attached to our 1.5 Tonne (102 Breaker only) and our 2.5 and 2.7 Tonne excavators. We offer two sizes of Breaker pin to suit your individual application, with the longer pins being particularly useful when breaking material underwater. Fitted with Klac Hitch’s for the safe and easy attaching and detaching of the Breaker unit to and from our excavators.

Our breakers operate at a Hydraulic Oil Flow rate of 16 I/min – 35 I/min and benefit from an in-built pressure relief valve to protect against overloading, as well as ‘Auto-start’ which allows it to start without load applied to the working tool, for increased performance and lower vibrations.

All of our 2.5 and 2.7 Tonne Excavators are LOLER certified to undertake Lifting operations. Our Lifting Slings manoeuvre materials – such as pre-bagged sandbags etc – via our Excavators with ease. Although, rated to carry 300kgs, these slings will comfortably carry 140-200kgs at our Excavators full reach, dependent on the size of the Excavator.
